For trips and empty homes
Vacation & Vacant Home Checks in Oakland County
Peace of Mind While You're Away.
Whether you're gone for a few days, a few weeks, or your home is sitting empty for a while, While Away provides scheduled checks so your house doesn't go unattended.
Scheduled Checks on Your Timeline
Visits are scheduled as often as you need for the length of your trip or vacancy. Your plan covers the checks and services that matter for your home, and nothing you don't need.
It's a reliable alternative to asking friends or neighbors to keep stopping by.
Keeping Your Home Looking Lived-In
Collecting mail, packages, and deliveries keeps them from piling up at the door while you're away. Visits can also include:
- Interior and exterior checks of the home and property
- Lights, thermostats, and smoke detectors
- Water and plumbing checks for any signs of leaks
- Watering indoor and outdoor plants
- Vehicle care
Photo Updates and a Prompt Call if Needed
After each visit you receive a detailed update with photos of what was checked inside and outside the home. If an issue is found, you'll be contacted immediately so you can decide how you'd like to proceed.
