For extended time away
Snowbird & Seasonal Home Watch in Oakland County
Peace of Mind While You're Away.
Spending the winter somewhere warmer, or away for several months at a time? While Away keeps a consistent, personal eye on your Oakland County home for the whole season, so you can enjoy your time away.
Consistent Care for a Long Absence
When a house sits empty for a season, small changes can go unnoticed for weeks. Regular, scheduled visits mean someone is looking in on your home throughout your time away — not just once before you return.
Before you leave, your plan is set around the length of your stay, how often you'd like visits, and anything specific to your home.
Checks Suited to a Season Away
Seasonal plans commonly include:
- Thermostat, lights, and smoke detector checks
- Looking over water and plumbing for any signs of leaks
- Interior and exterior walk-throughs of the home and property
- Starting vehicles and checking battery and tire pressure
- Mail and package collection so nothing accumulates
- Plant care and seasonal services for your property
Updates While You're Away
After every visit you receive a detailed report — a checklist, photos, and notes — so you always know your home has been checked. Any concerns are highlighted, and you'll be contacted immediately if something needs your decision.
